Healthcare Facility Works
NLS Contractors takes building systems and finishing packages for Saudi hospitals and clinics: BMS, rooftop helipads, HVAC and pressure control, fire alarm, plumbing and clinical fit-out. Work follows NFPA 99, ASHRAE 170 and SBC 801, and ends with staged handover so the facility can open in phases.
A hospital is several buildings in one. The clinical areas have strict air and pressure rules, the plant has to run without interruption, patients and visitors need clear escape routes, and the helicopter that brings a trauma case has to land on a roof that was designed for it. Packages are let by trade, and each trade has to respect the others' constraints.
Building controls come first. A hospital BMS logs temperature, humidity and room pressure for theatres, wards and isolation rooms, runs the AHU sequences that hold pressure cascades, and receives medical gas and essential power alarms as monitored points. ASHRAE 170 sets ventilation for health care facilities, and NFPA 99 covers medical gas and essential electrical systems. Commissioning is phased building by building.
A rooftop helipad is a structural, fire and aviation package at once. The roof is checked for helicopter loads, the TLOF is surfaced and marked, lighting and a wind direction indicator go in, and firefighting water reaches the roof. GACA approval belongs to the owner, and the construction documents support it.
Fire alarm and sprinkler systems go through Civil Defense acceptance. Plumbing includes clinical fixtures, hot water circulation and disinfection of the supply. Fit-out uses hygienic finishes, with infection control during works and staged handover.
NLS already supplies hospital infrastructure projects in Saudi Arabia, and NLS Power's range covers isolated power panels, UPS and generators for this kind of building. Send the drawings, the BOQ, the infection control requirements and the phasing plan with the site city.

Frequently Asked Questions
Which standards apply to hospital building systems?+
ASHRAE 170 for ventilation of health care facilities, NFPA 99 for medical gas and essential electrical systems, NFPA 72 and SBC 801 for fire alarm and fire protection, plus the consultant's specification.
What does a hospital BMS monitor?+
Temperature, humidity and pressure in clinical rooms, AHU and chiller status, and alarms from medical gas and essential power systems. Trend logs support infection control audits.
Can work continue while the hospital operates?+
Yes, with infection control measures, ceiling and dust barriers, out-of-hours work for noisy tasks, and a phasing plan agreed with the facility team. State the phasing in the enquiry.
Do you handle the helipad as well as the building systems?+
Yes. The rooftop helipad can sit in the same offer as the BMS, fire and finishing packages, with the owner holding the GACA approval.
