NLS Contractors is the contracting arm of Northlane Solutions Company, a Saudi registered business. It prices and delivers construction packages for main contractors, EPC contractors, consultants and project owners: building systems, helipads, MEP, steel, civil works, roads, fit-out and site facilities, with roots in aviation infrastructure.
Northlane Solutions started in aviation infrastructure, working on airfield ground lighting, obstruction lighting and heliport equipment for Saudi projects where the specification comes from ICAO and GACA rather than from a catalogue. That work set the habit that NLS Contractors keeps: read the standard, state the scope, and say plainly what is excluded.
NLS Contractors applies that habit to a wider list of trades. It runs a package desk where a main contractor, EPC contractor or consultant sends a scope sheet, BOQ or drawings and receives one priced offer. Ten trades sit behind it: building controls and BMS, helipads, electrical and ELV, steel structures, prefab site facilities, HVAC and mechanical works, plumbing and drainage, civil works, roads and fit-out. Packages are works contracts, which means equipment supply together with installation, testing and handover.
The group has three other brands. NLS Power supplies electrical and power equipment, NLS Industries supplies cables, valves, pumps and industrial materials, and Northlane Solutions handles airfield lighting, heliport equipment and GACA studies. A project can use any of them, and an enquiry to NLS Contractors can draw on the supply ranges of NLS Power and NLS Industries.
The company is Saudi registered. It has delivered cable packages into a Saudi Aramco NGL project, supplies hospital and aviation infrastructure projects in the Kingdom, and has priced helipad packages for main contractors on giga-projects.
What NLS Contractors will not do is quote without reading the scope. A rate per square metre or per kilometre with no stated scope helps nobody, so the first reply to an enquiry is usually a list of questions.
